VERVE AND MAHINDRA ODYSSEA

In the courtyard of Mahindra Towers, three ladies of the sea stood proud that night. Powerboats all that celebrate and embody the spirit of freedom, they had been head-turners through the day, as passersby on the adjoining road craned their heads at the unusual ‘visitors’. And when the sun went down, they trio was indeed the cynosure of all attention as Mahindra Odyssea and Verve hosted a wine and cheese soiree to unveil the beautiful lines of Mahindra Odyssea 33 Cabin and Diesel.

Men and women who love fresh air, a bright sun shining down and the waters of the sea walked in to have a detailed dekko of these boats. In between sipping chilled drinks and nibbling on the assorted delicacies that were served on platters, guests engaged in animated conversations about buying and owning boats in Mumbai. Going across to Alibaug was a popular activity. And the one question that came up most was that if you own a boat in Mumbai ‘Where does one park it?’ Seen in conversation with the invitees were Mahindra and Mahindra’s Zhooben Bhiwandiwala and Parag Shah.

Among those who strolled in that evening were Aziz Jhaveri, Divya Palat, Aditya Hitkari and Mrunalini Deshmukh. The guests were eager to know when they could take them out to the sea for a test run. Every one climbed up the steps leading to each powerboat to check out the space, interiors and feel their fittings. Once onboard, there was a reluctance to step down again!
