Deep Gupta, MD Pace Media Milestone, is on a professional high as luxury brands take Indian markets by storm

For Deep Gupta, Public Relations happened by accident. After finishing his schooling from a boarding school in Nainital, he went to Jai Hind college, Mumbai. A stint with a PR agency in the city launched him in his profession. After more than a decade in the luxury and lifestyle business, he recently started his own media company – Pace Media Milestone – an achievement he says, “was no magic but a result of my dedication, hard work and the blessings of my parents.”

Gupta who enjoys vacationing with his family and visiting their farmhouse at the foot hills of Nainital feels that the Indian luxury market has been growing at a phenomenal pace and consumers are accepting and adopting international customs and trends faster than anticipated – a fact that works to his advantage considering that his media company is working with the biggest luxury, fashion and lifestyle brands in the country.

He credits his success to his team which he feels “epitomises experience, energy and enthusiasm – a perfect blend of unmatched quality and precision.” In today’s age of vanity, ask him if any publicity is good, he says, “That is one of the great adages of all time. There is no such thing as bad publicity – the publicity may be of less than a favourable nature but still imparts awareness for the brand.”
