Moschino's Fall/Winter 2006-07 collection spotlights a dramatic reinvention of shapes

Scottish accents flirt with classic black tartan wool and sturdy grain de poudre in Moschino's latest offerings this season. The traditional kilt cavorts as saucy dresses and pleated mini shorts, with Celtic jewels like classic kilt buckles repositioned adroitly. Tuxedos transform into little capes and jaunty jumpsuits. Conventional tailcoats evolve into snug overcoats and bustier dresses as silk and satin show-stoppers blaze with jewelled filigree images. Succulent hues including peacock blue, forest green and old rose, stain fabrics like silk velvet, flowing taffeta and gauzy chiffon in softer and alluringly feminine silhouettes.

Moschino's Cheap and Chic line reveals a playful parade of high-waisted pencil skirts accessorised with bow belts, flouncy skirts with voluminous tulle petticoats and pleated mini dresses in ruby and black georgette, with a sprinkling of leather and lace accents, polka dots and the signature heart print.

Fun, flirty and fantastic, Moschino bags come complete with antique silver and fur trimmings. Totes with handcuff handles, heart-shaped bags snuggling in lace and leopard prints, patent leather clutches and mini bowling bags with 'good lock' clasps are creating more than a stir in the fashion circuit. International celebrities like singer Natalie Imbruglia and Burlesques brightest star, Dita Von Teese are sporting the Moschino toast of the season: The Muffin Bag, in satin silk with leather tassles and brown or black patent leather, and silver lockable cuffs.

If jewelled handpieces be your calling, flaunt the Moschino salmon satin clutch together with black lace pumps that is adorned with huge taffeta bows and dizzying high heels. And fuel your addiction to looking sexy.
